Jonathan Robins
Chief Executive Officer
Jonathan started his career in software and hardware engineering with
Sybase and Oracle eventually moving into sales and sales management. In
the mid 1990's Jonathan realized the power of creating software using
Internet technology and left Oracle to start his first company Rockridge
Systems, Ltd. In five years, Jonathan built Rockridge into a $2 Million
per year company and successfully sold the business during the dot com
buildup.
In 2003, Jonathan partnered with Joseph Layne and launched Jbytes to create a new generation of web enabled software custom tailored to the client's needs and run on the Internet by Jbytes. This approach eliminates the need for clients to invest in the people and infrastructure required to operate business applications on the Internet. Jonathan currently oversees business operations and leads the sales and marketing activities for the company. Since its inception, Jbytes has grown its revenues by 70% per year while maintaining solid profitability.
Joseph Layne
Chief Operating Officer
Joseph started his career working for DELL and was quickly promoted to
running a team of over 150 technical support technicians. In 2000, Joseph
launched a successful email marketing web site that became so successful
that he left DELL to focus his efforts on running the new business. Using
specially formulated viral marketing tactics he quickly grew his site
to over 1,000,000 unique visitors per month. The web site is still operational
today.
After using the Internet to successfully leverage his own web site, Joseph quickly saw a need for other businesses to do the same. So, in 2003 he partnered with Jonathan Robins to pioneer Jbytes, a software company specializing in the development of web-enabled applications. Since its inception, Jbytes has grown its revenues by 70% per year while maintaining solid profitability.
